Gold Vermeil (pronounced ver-may) features a base of 925 sterling silver with a thick layer of real gold — at least 2.5 microns — applied over the surface. This provides the luxurious look of solid gold at a more accessible price. With occasional wear, gold vermeil can last for many years; with frequent wear, it typically lasts 2–5 years depending on care. To maximize longevity, avoid water, sweat, and harsh chemicals, and store in a soft pouch.

14k Solid Gold contains 58.3% pure gold blended with other metals for strength and durability. Because it is gold throughout the entire piece, it will not wear off and can last for generations with proper care. Simply clean regularly to maintain its shine.
